These posters were inspired by a water park in Nagercoil in South India. The water park was called “Baywaatch” instead of Baywatch. I decided to play on the humor of this distorted title. When we entered the museum we were confronted with wax statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Indira Gandhi. I used Photoshop to put the wax statues’ faces on the Baywatch model’s bodies. I then copied and painted the images to make them look like mock movie posters.
